Riverside Commercial Development Case Study

Riverside Commercial Development Case Study

The Challenge

This state-of-the-art environmentally efficient commercial development was constructed under a contract between Sisk, the main contractor, and the proposed tenant, McCann Fitzgerald Solicitors.

This meant that the purchaser, the McCarthy & Associates client, was outside the agreed contract and the challenge was to ensure that the development was carried out in accordance with the agreed specification, carrying out a ‘watching brief throughout.

The Solution

By examining and checking the documentation McCarthy & Associates ensured the proposed building represented the end product the client was seeking. Regular inspections and attendance at meetings ensured that our client’s interests were being protected throughout the construction process, and that the building was constructed in accordance with the specification and contractual agreements. Any discrepancies uncovered were immediately brought to the attention of the relevant parties for resolution.

The Outcome

Not alone did the client take ownership of a state-of-the-art building that was in compliance with current building regulations, they also enjoyed an end product that was totally in keeping with the stipulated specification level and contractual agreement.
